The Golden Isles are certainly picturesque, but we are really known as a world class fishing destination. Inland fisherman can find trout, red fish and flounder while offshore fishermen come home with groupers, mackerels, sharks and snappers. With quick access to the ICW, we make boating easy.

Joseph F.Marina Manager
Joseph got his start in boating learning from the best – his grandfather. He had a fleet of shrimp boats in Brunswick, GA, and his family plays an integral part in the Brunswick Blessing of the Fleet.
Clayton P.Forklift Operator
Clayton hails from Arizona. He grew up at Lake Powell and eventually enlisted in the Navy. He loves the water, good people, great customer service and working hard.
David L.Forklift Operator
David is from Charleston, SC and his family has had boats all of his life. He feels that boating is part of who he is. He said our customers and staff at the marina are great and he enjoys working with them.
Sterling W.Forklift Operator
Sterling was born on Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA but lived in Williamsport, PA most of his life. Although some of his family members had boats, he had never been on a boat until he started working for Morningstar.
Vinnie hails from Baltimore, MD. He has always loved being on boats and fishing because it’s so peaceful. He loves the marina environment and the people he works with here at Morningstar Marinas.
Idus currently lives in St. Simons Island, GA. He recently obtained his Captain’s license and spends a lot of time on the water. He feels that maritime is a constantly growing industry that can provide big opportunities.
Dave is from Connecticut but now lives aboard his sailboat in St. Simons Island, GA. He started boating at an early age with his father & grandfather. He loves working on the water & meeting boaters from all over.
Jordan L.Office Assistant
Jordan grew up in Brunswick, GA & has taken many fun trips with her friends out on their boats. Being on the water is her happy place & she loves fishing. She feels extremely blessed to work near the water & boats.
Jeff is from Brunswick, GA, and grew up around boats as a kid with his grandpa on St. Simons Island. He played baseball in high school and loves the outdoors, water, & fishing. He loves the sunset and sunrise over the water.

Located on St. Simons Island, GA we’re right off of ICW Marker 675 with easy access to the ocean. The Frederica River provides no vertical obstructions and we’re a deep craft marina, making us a welcome stop for yachts and sailboats.
