A North Carolina native, Harry has worked at the Peninsula Yacht Club for more than a decade. He manages the day-to-day operations of the marina in addition to overseeing pool activities and the ship’s store. Harry has held a USCG Captain license for the past 7 years, currently holds a 100 ton masters license with towing endorsement for operating vessels ranging from 15’-80’ (sail and power).

Harry is extremely passionate about boating safety. He regularly organizes and conducts boating safety classes and has created a 22 page Fire Safety Manual for the marina based on input from the local fire department, marine surveyors, boat mechanics and other marina staff. When he’s not at work, Harry likes to spend time with his three kids and serve as both a youth leader and an elder at his church.

“I have always loved the water and everything there is about boating. Over the past several years I have become very interested in boating safety and work with local organizations like the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and Lake Norman Power Squadron to organize boating safety classes.”
