Busy Summer Boating Tips
We all enjoy the beautiful summer boating season at RHYC, and here are a few tips to ensure that we’re all making the most of our days on the water:
- Be certain that your boat has ample lines and fenders and that they are easily accessible for safe docking in our harbor. Our Marina team cannot be responsible for boats without proper equipment onboard.
- RHYC has begun our Curb to Boat Service for our dry storage boaters. During the busy summer season, no need to call ahead for your boat launch – simply drive right down to the marina patio, located in front of the Ship’s Store. There you may have your boating party disembark and relax on the patio while the RHYC team launches your boat to the water on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Boats will be launched, once your entire boating party has arrived at the marina patio. Dock carts will be available at the patio and our team will be there to assist with your coolers, beach bags, etc. Once your boat is launched to the water, the RHYC team will assist while you go on board and leave the dock for your day of boating.
- In an effort to provide a more equitable and timely customer service experience, during the busy boating season, (through September 3rd), Curb to Boat service will replace the Call Ahead Concierge Service at the marina.
We appreciate all of our RHYC boaters, making each of your experiences enjoyable is our top priority. We look forward to seeing you out on the water!
