Early bird discounts are available for those who schedule in September and October. Mobile services are available within Mathews county.

Morningstar Marinas at Gwynns Island is a true full-service marina with boat storage and rentals, a Ship’s Store and parts department, and an extremely knowledgeable, efficient service center. Whether it’s for your leisure, sport or fishing boat – outboard, inboard or IO – our service team is equipped to handle all of your emergency repairs, routine services, or annual maintenance. With over 35 years of combined marine mechanic expertise, our full-time staff of seasoned technicians will quickly and accurately diagnose your boat’s condition, advise preventative maintenance, and perform quality work quickly to get you back out on the water and ensure that your boat runs well for years to come.

Our mechanics also spend two days each week at our Morningstar Marinas Little Creek location. Please use the links at the bottom of the page to request service at either marina.

Remember we detail, bottom paint, shrink wrap, acid wash the bottom, etc – all your cosmetic needs.

Hauling Fees

  • Haul-Power wash $10.00 per foot
  • Haul-Power wash-Scrape $15.00 per foot
  • Quick Haul (1 hour or less) $7.00 per foot
  • Daily work rack $25.00 per day
  • Paint stands $35.00 per day

Storage Fees

  • 6 months minimum, depends on availability
  • Call for current rates
  • Leases run: Annual, Semi Annual (May to October) or (November to April) +/- a month on either side

Hurricane Haul Out

  • Hurricane Club $500.00 per year. *Haul up to 4 days (2 days prior/2 days after hurricane)
  • Daily Hurricane Haul up $225.00 flat fee for outside up to 4 days

Labor Rates

  • Yard Labor $90.00 per hour
  • Mechanical $115.00 for tenants/$130.00 non-tenant/$150 Little Creek
