Sam Hird

General Manager

I have been working in the marina industry since 2005.  I started at Clinton Marina in Lawrence, Kansas where I worked for eight years and earned my Intermediate Marina Manager Certification (IMM).  In 2013 I relocated to Cornelius, NC where I took the Rental Boat Supervisor Position at Kings Point Marina.  After my first year I became the Operations Manager and had two summers acting as the Operations Manager for the largest marina in the Carolinas.

Growing up in Kansas, I enjoyed the outdoors and the Lake Gaston area reminds me of how much I enjoyed hunting and four wheeling. I have a four wheeler back on the farm that might also be moving to Eaton Ferry.
