Gwynn’s Island - General Manager

Tina, her sister, and three brothers grew up in Sauk Village, IL just outside of Chicago. Today, Tina lives in Matthews, VA where she’s served as the General Manager of the Gwynn’s Island marina for nearly three years. As part of her role, she leads a team of eight and helps her team provide customers with a safe, fun boating experience.

For Tina, the best part of her job is getting to meet people from all different walks of life. She loves getting to know her customers, hearing their stories and providing them with any assistance or advice they need. When she’s not working at the marina, Tina is enjoys shopping, reading on the beach and hanging out with her husband and two kids.

“I consider all my employees here my family. They are the ones I eat lunch with everyday and I know so much about their day to day lives. Having them here to help our marina succeed is crucial. I try to thank them every week for all their hard work.”
